Notes on the first glass poured. Light gold color, bright and clear. Lemon chiffon, apricot, a little ground pepper in the bouquet. I love the balance and texture here, along with the lack of any astringent notes that I find in many Viogniers. I think this is especially delicious. 5+10+18+9= 92

No tasting note here, but wanted to log my score to know what to buy more of next year. Really nice and enjoyable wine that I'll get whenever he has more available.

An exceptionally very well made Viognier. Medium gold in colour. Extremely floral with notes of honeysuckle, and orange blossom, followed by mandarin orange, grapefruit zest, nectarine, and a bit of flint. It’s rich without being oily, flabby or heavy. Plenty of acidity that lifts up the wine and gives it tension. Larry notes he picks his Viognier grapes based on pH rather than Brix to ensure the wine has enough acidity, and I must say that sounds like a good call for Viognier. As with all of Larry's wines he releases them when they are ready to be enjoyed but with room for improvement should you wish to cellar them. Drink now-2025

Nice Viognier. Citrus and floral notes on the palate. Just enough off-dry to go well with Chinese food.
