had to pop one of my 2. It is indeed an auslese and drinking very well. Slate and flowers on the nose. Intense sweetness on the nose too. Quince. A finish that is remarkable. 10 mins. For under $16 the QPR on this is immense.

Very pale straw. Pineapple, dusty minerality, a hint of petrol, citrus peel, apricot, white peach, rose petals, white flowers. Nice round, light to medium body, solid acidity, quite sweet but not cloying, definitely not kabinett. Excellent with Indian curry.

Just a touch of noble rot to the nose? My assumption is the * means that they actually saw botritus (sp? sorry). I like the citrusy crazy spice note. Drinking very well right now.

A $16 Auslese here (not a Kabinett by any stretch)... but this is awesome, especially with spicy food. Very pale yellow, medium bodied with a gorgeous nose showing flowers, lime, peach, guava and a little minerality, with the flowers and slate really coming to the front after some time in the glass. Palate shows more lime, tropical fruits and some baked apple with good acidity and a medium length finish.
