Medium golden. Rather big and rich, with some sweet oak showing. Decent acidity. Clearly New World in style. Overall, we would not call it overblown — yet to our tastes it’s just a bit too much, and we would not want a steady diet of this. Nice enough over three nights, with some positive development along the way.
