  • A very well done bottle of white burg, well balanced oak, and a surprising mintiness on the nose. Palate is lacking a bit of complexity at the moment, but maybe it will gain that with age.

  • A notch less compelling than the Boudriotte from the same vintage, this wine still fires on all cylinders after 90 min in bottle. I emphasize that it really needs the aeration before realizing it’s crystalline purity. It reveals a nutty barrel toast, key lime pie, with balanced, but not searing acidity. possibly the same oak program, and it’s just beautiful. Love the 18s at this address

  • Drank over two evenings and needed that night in the fridge to gain some additional complexity. Richer orchard fruit aromas with white floral and finely crushed stone as well. Pretty powerful aromatically. Quite a bit of density on the palate too with richly textured apple and pear and a bit of lemon custard. Faint spice. An expansive finish where the minerality comes out.
