  This Etna Rosso, 80% Nerello Mascalese & 20% Nerello Cappuccio, gives a quite enjoyable scent of maraschino cherries, freshly cracked hazelnuts and a light oaky fragrance. The first mouth is a bit on the tannic side, but then shows delightful notes of red currants, cherry candies and dried orange peel. Light, almost Spätburgunder colour. A year or three in the celler will hopefully let the tannins mellow somewhat, so would say best after 2022. Would pair this with fresh rigatoni in a light sauce with sautéed veal and tartufata.

  Snygga lena tanniner. Ljust och transparent, burgundiskt i stilen. Röda bär och viss kryddighet Även om intensitet och komplexitet är dem allra högsta är det ett snyggt och välsmakande vin. Mycket bra.

  Enkelt rättfram mjuk ljusröd frukt med mörkare mineralstänk. Inget snack om ursprung men saknar möjligen lite komplexitet. Väldigt tillgänglig i en lättsam stil som ändå inte trillar över och blir tråkigt. Kanske inte det som jag förknippar med spännande Etna men ändå inget som någon behöver bli besviken över. Funlar lika bra till lättare maträtter som på egen hand.
