Pnp, cork good quality. Much the same as last time although the darker notes dominated now with black olives and licorice among the fruit and herbal notes. Very enjoyable.

This pours deep ruby in the glass with hints of purple, opaque at the core and lightly glass staining. The nose is just gorgeous from the first pour and continues to evolve over the course of a couple hours showing animal fur, olive brine, black pepper, butchered lamb, iron, violet, and fresh blueberry. While feral and gamey I wouldn't in any way call this bretty. The palate enters on rich blueberry, almost turning to a touch of coulis with seemingly a touch of vanilla. Tannin is firm and medium plus with medium acid. The finish shows blueberry and a kiss of vanilla. All in all this wine features a stellar nose. Just soaring, concentrated, Northern Rhone goodness. The palate is very dense and young with the vanilla distracting a little today. I expect this to age extremely well and be an amazing wine in the decades to come that could easily give more heralded wines from more important appellations a run for their money. Strong value at $33 USD.

Super young. Needed an hour of air to reveal itself. Great nose and palate with complex violet black berries tapenade and liquorice but serious and drying tannins. This needs much more air than an hour at the moment or some five years plus cellaring. Revisit
