(Wineapalooza With Friends.) Double decanted six hours prior to pouring. The first pour was disappointing. Acidic, muted nose, no flesh, not worth a revisit. However, two additional hours in the glass transformed this into a voluptuous wine. Lush and textured, this hit the target with the group and was a revelation to some. This wine just pops. Still an infant, this will be best enjoyed 2027 to 2035. Decant generously prior to that. Outstanding.

4th Saturday Brown Bagger (R&D’s): Deep inky color. Abundant raspberry and ripe, lush fruit. Hints of spice in the finish. Very good and very much in the house style. This was decanted for five hours and then allowed to breathe in bottle for another 2.5 hrs before the flight was poured.

Really just layers on layers of flavors. Seems to have closed down just a bit despite a 4 hours slow-ox.

Spectacular, and fun to monitor over 6+ hours. Was drinkable early on and continued to evolve over the evening.
