The top shelf Rhys wines are great, and I had never tasted anything from the Alesia lineup. For the price, this is outstanding. This captures the great dark fruit of Anderson with some nice floral characteristics.

Juicy black fruit and sour cherry on the nose. Dry. Nice acidety. Medium concentration fruit. Nice round mouthfeel. Red fruit, apple and blackberry on the palate. Very nice! Definetly BftB😃🍷🍷

Pop and pour. Tasted over three days, keeping the wine refrigerated during the time. Dark ruby color. Nose offers dark red fruits and some fresh earth. A bit heavy on the intro showing a darker fruit flavor profile than expected from Anderson Valley Pinot. Has a bit of plum and stewed fruit as well.
Drinkable but not particularly enjoyable.

Dark berry, wild strawberry, licorice, a little smoky and spicy. Silky texture, fine balance.
