Hmm interesting wine, as most wine that comes out of Chassagne Montrachet is white.light ruby color. Scents of bright red cherry, bay leaves, just the slightest touch of barnyard. On the palate sour cherry leaps out on the midpalate structured by very high acidity and wiry tannins (a bit too high, but to be expect from this region) as well as an acceptable length finish. Nice change of pace for my drinking at 10 bucks a bottle.`
