  Recent acquisition, provenance unknown. Slight leakage/seepage, w evidence on cork, though fill was good. Overall assessment - another wonderful bottle, drinking beautifully now. Red and blue fruits, slight hints of oak, leather and earth. Similar profile to previous note - over 2 nights, held up well and continued to develop nuances. Seems to be at peak but with 3-5 years of stability ahead w good storage.

  WOW - everything Pinot Noir should be (with deference to GC Burgundy, very little of which I've drunk). This has the fruit, developing secondary characteristics, structure to age. Night one - earthy, nascent secondary aromas w primary fruit and vanillan coming on to follow. Medium bodied mouthfeel with a 20-30 second finish. Night 2, aromas explode from the glass and it's even longer in the mouth. I don't regret drinking now but wish I had more than just this one to see it evolve....
