Burgundy color with large change from rim to center with a clear meniscus. Savory nose - tobacco, cocoa, cherry. Similar flavor profile on palate. Medium body/acidity and completely integrated tannins with a long finish. This surprised me how well this wine has aged. 92+/- Too bad the winery changed hands in the downturn.

Pop and pour. The nose here is complex and reminiscent of Bordeaux. Similarly, the palate is complex but a bit hollow, with the fruit having faded some. Tannins are extremely relaxed, and this wine is so easy to drink. This was a great bottle of wine, and it's sad that these wines are no longer made at this quality level.

Rich cherry, orange peel, and herbs.. plenty of tread on the tires. Fine vintage of this wine and a great value.

Continues to drink well. Best QPR in my cellar. If the winery had not gone BK this would be $30+ and I would still be happy.
Didn't take notes but paired great with grilled burgers. Should last another few years. 91+
