Tasting at the winery. Lovely nose and aromatics. Earthiness, leather and black fruit. Still some grippy tannins suggesting this will easily last another decade. Very impressive wine

If served blind would guess Bordeaux, very Palmer like, beautiful nose, lovely poise & depth, full bodied, soft tannins, still needs time

If blind the nose is Bordeaux 100%. So pleasant and tertiary! Fruit is CA alright. Amazing and it will only get better from here. 👌

Napa 2023: the quieter version; 2/6/2023-2/11/2023 (Napa/Sonoma California): Blind and I got the Cabernet part and god bless my husband because he knew this had some decent age but I honestly went with 2014. This is super approachable, super expressive. It’s fresh fruit and slightly floral and a bit of violets but really I don’t get any of the age at all yet. It’s spectacular.
