Domaine Direct tasting (Uncorked): This is an attractive mid gold colour. It has a ripe toffee apple and barley sugar nose, with apparent but not chemical botrytis. In the mouth it is clean, sweet, thick with plenty of creamy, appley fruit and lashings of acidity. This makes it very nicely balanced and a lovely, drinkable wine. Again on the palate the botrytis is evident but not in a chemically way, and the mouth feel is gloopy but not at all cloying. Very good.
