  This wine pours medium ruby in the glass. The nose is lovely displaying fabulous old world sensibility. Aromas of blueberry, plum, new lather, pepper, concrete dust, charred green bell pepper, and eucalyptus. The palate is a dark fruited juicy mouthful with the lush mouthfeel of syrah, against medium acid and medium minus tannin. The finish lingers impressively replaying much of the nose. This unconventional blend delivers a very nice profile which could be confused with something from Australia with the deep fruit and eucalyptus, yet there are structural elements and some restraint that makes this distinctly more old world. Regardless this is a very nice wine that really delivers for the lowly $15 CAD price tag. Silly value that would easily appeal widely and is a great candidate for a party wine.
