Very dark garnet, no browning. Nose of blackberry and chalky minerals. Palate of black currants and mild leather. Long drying finish but smooth tannins. Drinking nicely now.

Had this for a nice dinner at the Capital Grill with awesome steaks. This had aged nicely. Our son worked at Turley in Paso and we picked this up at the member party this fall. What a treat, bought the magnum and every drop was truly enjoyed.

Nice petite syrah. Don't think this is going to improve much more with age but it drinks fine right now. Very velvety mouthfeel and was better with some air / time to open up.

Blocky if flavorful on day one with fresh, dank Petite fruit. Better with air and on day 2. Not quite broad, deep, complex, mineral, or polished enough to make you sit up and take notice or call it "outstanding", but a nice change of pace and the general balance and basic fruit quality to suggest further evolution / integration is possible. A singleton for me so we'll call it 89+?

A little tight to start, but good balance of tannin and fruit after an hour or so. Do not think will improve much with age. Agreed on over price, but usually love this varietal from Turley, so will keep buying and drinking.
