  A lovely colour out of the bottle, bordering on dark plums, dark ruby red. On the nose, ripe summer fruits, hints of peach, plums, cherries. Dates and dried dried plums on tasting, a nice balance of tanins and acidity, smooth finish and gently fades. A really nice subtle finish. We had with a nice carbonara.
