Orange zest and apricot, ginger and honey. This is big ripe and gorgeous but is maybe just past its best - slight notes of tertiary creamy caramel creeping in. If you like the tertiary flavours then this will be for you from here on. Long complex and layered.

White tea with honey, lemon zest, ginger, raw almond, shiso, and crushed white rock. Full bodied with medium acidity and a rich finish. Glides down really easily and a versatile match at the table. Best on the cool side. Drink now to 2021.

From the wine list at Ninety Acres. Rich, aged yellow-mauve color. Unusual nose of nectar, kerosene, and nuts. Very soft feel on the palate, with notes of wood, nuts, and kerosene. A hint of bitterness on the finish.

Has definitely shed its youthful but I'm not sure it's a better win with six years under its belt. Very developed appearance with a rich urine dark yellow. Nose shows some kero aged fruits and grilled nuts. Some marsanne fat as well. Tastes middle aged as well. Not a lot of primary fruit, rather very settled and pleasant minerals and soft citrus. No acid to speak of. Finish is a little bitter and the kero note lukrks throughout. Palate structure is wonderfully soft and rolls across the tongue with soft wood and a bacon fat note. Very pleasant but but lacks the punch delivered 3 years ago. Drink 2010 and 2011.

Rich and unctuous. Has lost some of the floral and mineral notes of its youth, but there is still a great complexity that makes this pleasing.
