From 62cl, decanted 1 hour. Typical Arbois VJ, slightly richer and thicker-textured than a Chateau Chalon. Best immediately on opening and at cellar temperature: saline breeze, a hint of smoky bacon on the nose, intense acidity, lots of verve. With air and as it warmed up to the room temperature the back label recommends, it lost vibrancy. Fine for a co-op product, and admirably free of the cellar/old-manky-oak funk a lot of VJ still displays (Maire! Rolet!) Best now, don't keep too long. 88P
