A few weeks after drinking, I remember it as having developed nicely. Still fresh and a typical Bordeaux taste, if not terribly complex. The rough tannins are softening.

Appereance: Dark purple red Aroma: Black currant, oak and mocca Full bodied and very tannic. The oakflavours are not yet integrated and are overwhelming the rest of the palate together with the unavailable tannins Good length
Needs time to develop, but great potential

Not all that "open" at first, but after spending some time in the decanter it wakes up more. Typical, good, if not overwhelming Bordeaux nose with dark fruit and woodiness, juicy and soft in the mouth, ends with some quite obvious and rough tannins - not unpleasant, but it will be interesting to see if it softens a bit with time. Excellent value, I think, and was very good with a simple beef meal.

Bring on the beef :-) I want a bit more fruit but at the price, this is excellent. Black current and nougat with nice dry finish. Try chilling to 13-15 C and se if it brings out more fruit.
