Post-Krug Dinner (House 406 - Northbrook IL): An unusual treat. Apricot and earth with lots of concentration. Completely past its effervescent peak, but still flavorful with moderate restraint on its sweetness.

wow, what can i say. i had this sitting around waiting for a good time to open it and last night was such a time. lovley 24k golden color, incridiably perfumed with tangerines, honey, apricots, orange water, nice acid, surpy yet bubbly, quite a contrast. my very first sparkling ice wine and it brought the house down. gotta love those Canadians.

Slightly over syrupy now, but still smooth on the palate.
