Drank close to room temp which brings out quite the cream brûlée richness, with requisite acidity to keep it interesting . Fans of cote de beaune whites should like this.

A super nose here: along with crisp citrus fruits there is iodine, a hint of malo, leesy notes and a faint kiss of wood. It’s crystal bright and articulate, extremely attractive and playful too. On the palate it has some texture to it and wonderful ripeness to its lemon-driven fruitiness but it is not weighty at all and has wonderfully refreshing acidity. There is a strong stony quality to it along with yeasty and slightly oaky notes. It is very crisp all the way with a mouth-watering finish. It strikes a perfect balance between the use of wood, the ripeness and acidity. Without any angles and austerity this is eminently smashable and delicious at this early age. I’m really impressed by how complete a wine this is.

Drinking well already. Definitely opened up after an hour or two, but it was surprisingly accessible from the get go. Save it for 5-10 years or drink it now, either way you should be good.

Leaner and more restrained than 2020 Fourchaume from the same producer. Less hedonistic, less giving, more mineral. Doesn't have an obvious Chablis signature. Drinks more like Chassagne/Puligny. A bit oaky. Needs a few more years, but a lovely effort with good potential.

irresistibly good. more sleek than the '19 Fourchaume, very mineral, and impressive enough that i had to restock. some for now and some for resting.
