95% Cabernet, 5% Franc. Rooted in clay slit, lots of breath with the wine. Really ripe with dark black fruits, maybe edging towards being disscated. Maybe not. More volume, not as vertical, richness on the back of the palate. Layered. Good stuff. Also maintains good tension throughout.

42nd Annual Zinfandel Retrospective - the 2015s (R&D's): A blend of sauvignon and franc, showing aromas of red plum, black currants, licorice, vanilla and barrel spice. Balanced, with dark cabernet fruit, brown sugar, currants and mocha. Lingering finish. Excellent. (R&R)
