- Brick color. It's somewhat balanced with a medium body. Linear texture with a medium finish - Didn't really convince. A Mix of several tastes, None dominant and hence difficult to classify

My last bottle and best experience so far. Starts out very fruity with little rustic tannins, but develops a nice smooth creamy feel a longside the fruit. Went really well with a peppery beef/redwine stew.

2005 Quinta do Passadouro (Portugal, Douro) Kleur: Paarsrood Aroma / bouquet: Halfgesloten, beetje donker fruit, sigarenkistjes, rokerig / grafiet Smaak / Afdronk: Friszure aanzet, krachtige, wat plakkerige en behoorlijk bittere tannines, veel lengte, niet buitengewoon complex, droppig Algemeen / potentieel: Hard, maar niet onaantrekkelijk. Eetwijn. 50 + Kleur: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 9 + Smaak / Afdronk: 12 + Algemeen / potentieel: 6 = 82/100

Spicy and a bit rustic flavours. Also some cherrys. Reminds me of a spanish crianza tempranillo. Best with food. Interesting
