Medium in colour with a slight brown tinge. Classic nose and while quite tertiary, still a good amount of fruit too. Well balanced on the palate, medium body, medium finish. A lovely wine that has aged really well and was a real pleasure to drink.

Part of 31 vintage vertical of Cissac. Marked quite low as I was expecting more from the vintage. Some fruit a bit thin in the middle and a metallic finish.

Classic old school claret, medium bodied, elegant, very dry but still enough fruit to deliver a harmonious drinking experience. Mature but still drinking very well, just shows how well claret can age, even at cru bourgeois level - a real treat and wonderful to be able to drink such mature wine at such a reasonable price.

Pencil shavings, some earth, really warm nose, a slight green smell that reminds me of when I cracked some branches off my parents hazelnut tree. Quite smooth finish. Liked it better then the Malartic Lagraviere 1978 that we had next to it. Should be drunk in the next 4-5 years.

Color: Red with hint of brown/orange. Nose: Opens with grilled meat, pepper and cigarbox. Followed by wood and roasted almonds. Taste: Very smooth and balanced wine. The almond flavor gets stronger but it balances nice with a finish of leather and blackcurrant. Smooth
