  • Lovely bottle of wine at the perfect price point. dark and inky in color with a nose like smelling a platter of fresh plums and berries with some strong peach overtones. silky smooth and full of ripe, luscious fruit from front to back. This is a perfect example of a fruit forward wine that is not a fruit bomb. The fruit is balanced with lots of cinnamon and nutmeg. Good tannins and a nice long finish. Enjoyed with a homemade tomato sauce and a mild triple creme for dessert, this wine went perfectly with both. The only reason I didn't give it 90 is that there was a little too much wood smoke in there for my taste. However that hardly detracted significantly from a wonderful wine.

  • Ruby red in color. Full nose of red cherry and balsa wood, and a hint of overripe peach. Silky on the palate with medium body, good focus and length. Good buy.
