  • Has a ruby red and amber appearance, very transparent, scents of cherry and sandalwood, the body is medium at most, a feminine wine with textural elegance and softness, a caressing mouthfeel, polished, exhibits flavors of cherry, black tea and dried raspberry, very approachable now so go ahead and approach, opened with fried wagyu steak, and although it is not a steak wine it was complimentary and refreshing

  • This is a really interesting and complex wine. The light color belies an intense nose of fruit, herbs and over time in the glass, earthiness. The palate is full and well balanced with the lasting and satisfying finish of a well-aged 5 year old wine.

  • Light crimson color. Lifted sweet red fruits dominate the nose. Cranberry, sour cherry, tobacco. Light and lively on the palate. More sweet red fruits, cranberry, tobacco and leather dominant. Medium-light on the palate; short, slightly tannic on the finish. This is very good. Drinkable now, but will hopefully gain some weight with a little more time in the cellar.

  • Latisha: "it looks like Coca Cola"

Me: it's very smooth and drinkable, but it doesn't have a ton of flavor. What flavor it has is very good though. Great table wine for me.

  • Pretty light fruits with medium acid and tannins. Medium body, complexity and lenght. Quite dissapointing for a supposingly good quality Chainti.

Day 2: Good complex nose and palate with sweet spices and berry tart. Silky round and very smooth tannins. Delicious. The wine is almost so smooth that I on day one thought it might have been flawed. Never the less I think it’s time to drink this 2018 wine even though it’s supposed to last much longer.
