  Color was clear and consistent with typical chardonnay. Aroma was of citrus (predominantly grapefruit) with hints of... cactus? Initial impression of palate was somewhat disappointing, with a fair degree of acidity though without much heat. Oak and milk flavors were evident prior to a rather brief and uninspired finish. Overall, I wish the cheerful aroma had carried on into the palate.
