Not quite the same experience as others. Clean fruit, good complexity but far from the level of the 90 Beze I’ve had in the past. It was not up to a 90 Leoville Poyferre sitting next to it either. Well stored bottle with a clean cork and excellent fill, perhaps some bottle variation.

During a dinner with Confrerie friends. Wow, this was a winner! Fantastic nose of aged Burg with underbrush, funk, red fruit. Excellent palate as well, not tired. Balanced fruit, acidity with soft tannins.

Ripe and red, with modest soil notes but not particularly differentiated, albeit enjoyable.
