  • Very enjoyable, well-balanced with nice depth and complexity; slightly tart red fruit; good finish.

  • Based on a 2019 in November 2022

C: Light red (for a Pinot) and clear. Slow legs. Some color separation at the edges, perhaps
S: slate, oak(?), carmel, cherry, raspberry,
T: high acidity, bare hint of sugar, not so fruity, carmel and slate up front, long finish, a little thin maybe?. The acidity really makes it light bodied - not full bodied. Astringent. Getting fruitier in later sips, but always has a long drying finish
R: not my favorite style by itself, but i bet it pairs well with food because of the acidity. So... liked it. May or may not buy again. Will try to add a note if food pairing is good.

  • Beautiful strawberry red color. The nose has lovely strawberry/rhubarb aromas. Bright, beautifully detailed fruit on the palate. Strawberry and spice with real depth. Fine, firm tannins, beautifully balanced acidity. Finishes long, spicy, strawberry and cherry notes. Lovely and will develop for 4 to 5 years, drink well for 10 years.
