  • First half hour was very closed, but opened nicely. Tasted more like a croze hermitage than a bordeaux, making me wonder what's in this blend. Not bad, but over priced at $20. Would buy again if around $15.

  • clear, purple-black-ruby, thin rim (watery) brown-fuscia, tears fast to form, fast to fall, v is medium, still wine, medium+ intensity in all areas indicating somewhat warm area and vintage nose: chalky "purple" smell, a bit of velvet and lavendar/violet, associated with france and bord3eaux. Blueberries indicating more merlot than cabernet. Evidence of barrel treatment in french oak. Though not "raw young" it is youthful in terms of un-melded grape flavors. Palate: very smiliar to aroma. Tannin is medium, acid is medium, exceptional balance. Finish is short plus indicating a table wine that won't necessarily get better with age. Warm climate region in a warm year. Old world style that is "drink now" but can age for safely five years based on time when fruit can come together. Good quality for the value. Pair with veal in its own sauce, sauce should be elegant (never anything tomato based or with strong herb or acid fkavors). Can see this with lamb in its own juice,
