  Dark reddish garnet with a slight hint of purple in color. Full, forward & aromatic nose of ripe red cherries, blueberries & strawberries with overtones of floral notes of violets & spices, sandalwood, earthy/dusty, tea, minerals & a hint of vanilla/oak in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of dark cherries, blueberries & plums with spices, minerals & a hint of vanilla/oak. Drinks quite well at present but should develop further with a few years of additional aging.
