  • Drinking well right now at almost five years. Medium lemon color, made in a fuller bodied style. Has seen oak, secondary notes of vanilla, light buttercream, and emerging butterscotch. Lemon meringue, ripe peach, pine nuts and a touch of ruby red grapefruit on the palate with a chalky undertone. Initially the acidity is subtle but really rises to the occasion at the finish. Highly representative of the “bigger” California style….great if you gravitate toward this style.

  • Popped, pored and tasted right out of the refrigerator (duh!) and only got a little bracing acidity. After 15 minutes of air and coming up to correct drinking temperature, the wine flavors and texture opened up beautifully. White peach and lime on the nose. Lush mouthfeel front and mid palate with flavor of pineapple and lime zest, with some nice light butter. Nice crisp lemon acidity on the finish. Beautifully balanced, luscious lip smacking Chardonnay!
