Understandably a Pinot from Quebec, I was expecting less than what I got. The color was nice, the bouquet was shy. The wine was rough. I do think that this wine was too high in price for what I got. At $30 cdn, I could have gotten a much much better french or American pinot. Yet I understand that this local wine maker is "young" compared to an old country wine maker. And I do like to encourage local wine makers, even though our climate is not ideal for red cepage, specially not pinot whom all experts seem to say is a finicky cepage.

12% - Clear, pale & light ruby / clean, med intensity - sour red berries, green vein running through, smoke, with a little something that bothers me - weird soapy notes... / dry, med+ tart acidity, low tannin, light body, med- intensity with a short length. The short length is actually a good thing for this one !!

Blind, pale ruby, strawberry and cherry, dried herbs ending on a lingering bitter metallic finish. Drink now.
