  • Had this at a fantastic restaurant in Easton MD - Bas Rouge. Food was terrific. Bright lemon notes on the nose. In the mouth got a little more mushy. Some acidity, but not as much as expected. Good fruit, gooseberry and pear. Medium mouthfeel, long finish. I was expecting more from this money and a GG. It was a good drink, but nothing special - not distinctive.

  • N: very elegant with aromas of fresh green apple fresh tarragon ripe pear with a subtle iodine lanolin note
P: soft rounded generous texture but not flabby. Very delicate fruit with a lovely biting mineral texture carrying to a long finish. That herbal stroke iodine character shows but it is well integrated into the fruit and doesn't dominate.

A very good wine that's eminently drinkable now but has complexity and the structure to age.
