Drinking very well. Shows some signs of aging, was a dark brick red still opaque actually darkend a bit with air. Double decanted, took about 45 mins for the nose to develop. Classic bordeaux, earthy, somewhat musty, some dark fruit notes and a subtle citrus note that brightened it up a bit. Plenty of fruit up front, cherry and cranberry, not jammy. Tannins showing in the mid, nice medium body. Silky finish that held on . An enjoyable bottle and I think this can get a bit better over the next few years.

A very impressive 2nd wine. Medium bodied and not showing any signs that 2003 was a very hot vintages - cherries and crisp red fruit on the palate underlayed with a taught mineral-laden finish. Very refined. Drink now, it is in a good place now and I doubt it will improve. I paid £8 for this wine, which is a steal given how good it is.

Wine Education Service - Bordeaux 2003 (LSE): A bouquet of some red fruit with the expected black fruits, a bit of oak and a touch of meatiness. Very sweet attack, quite jammy a little tannin but soft and manageable, peppery finish, this wine is ready now.

Wine Education Service - Bordeaux - Graves (LSE): Almost translucent, age on the rim.
Gentle cooked fruit nose.
Gorgeous fruit and chocolate attack, smooth and delicious, very long.
