  Surprisingly forward with gold colour. Ripe, nutty and Coche-like even at this age. Good length and depth. It was quite opulent and seducing. A rare early-drinking Coche vintage, at least by the standard of this sample. 92-93

  This showed well at the beginning, but got a lot more impressive after about an hour in the glass. Serious power here, some remarked this was reminiscent of Corton-Charlemagne and would have been their guess if served blind. Rich, dense, clean, and so much material here this will clearly go for decades. Remarkable viscosity, which is one of the hallmarks of the best Coche Dury wines. To me, this was #2 in a field of Coche Dury Meursault today, just behind 2008 Meursault Perrieres.
