From 75cl screwcap. I've tasted quite a few of Künstler's 2019 Rieslings in the Kabinett trocken—Spätlese trocken range recently (Kirchenstück, Stielweg, Rüd. Bischofberg etc.) This is the least developed, with a notable CO2 spritz still getting in the way of the Hölle apricot/tropical fruit weight it'll surely show in a couple of years. Best in 2025-26? If I absolutely had to rate this now, I'd say 89P(?), but I think it's sleeping, and has potential for 91P at maturity. NR

Overall, not super-impressed. On the positive, it has density and is remarkably homogenous. On the other hand, like most Künstler wines it lacks any freshness and is characterised by a certain stuffyness-sweatiness which makes their wines difficult to like for me.
See - I'm all in for some craze, some wildness, funky stuff, spontaneous fermentation notes and so forth, but these Künster wines are somehow sluggish and lame without offering any benefit in return.
So, overall I'm not satisfied, for a price of 14 EUR.

Friendly, pure, good citrus, balanced but missing the inner core to convince.

Dry but also rather fruity. Perfectly pleasant but I prefer a mineral Riesling.

nice, very decent Riesling. fine peach taste, low and rounded acidity, refreshing.
