Pure, clean and bright aromas of cherry and earth. The fruit flavours are just so tasty, ripe with a savoury and crunchy edge. The perfect mid-weight wine for midweek.

Certainly the bastard child of the Piemonte reds, and truly, I don't think Dolcetto is typically this good. A testament to the talent of this producer.
This wine is a fully stainless steel ferment, highlighting the purity of fruit. There is great density with its black fruit and liquorice core, and certainly not lacking for freshness even with its med-level acidity.
It doesn't have the zippiness or quaffability of Barbera, nor the power and beauty of Nebbiolo. But nonetheless, a solidly produced and imminently enjoyable red that sits at a completely reasonable price point.
Can't complain.

Medium ruby color. On the nose ripe black fruits and black pepper with a green note. Dry, medium acidity, low tannins, nose follows through to palate. Light medium body. Ok balance. Short medium finish.
