Fresh, vibrant and juicy, with decent complexity and interest. Sweet fruited with pear, apple, melon, peach, sweet candy and a hint of bitter fruit skin on the finish. Nice and high acidity, and good length.

Our second bottle this month and this was also excellent. Notes really as last time - a greeny gold that has a certain brightness to it. Time in bottle has definitely helped and this is now in a very good place and I don't see what else further years would bring as it is bang on the money right now. Green fruit, a lick of salt, tangerine and orange rind, and some stones in the rain. Not quite as good on day 2 this time. For the money this was amazing, and I am sure that more recent vintages will also be excellent but unfortunately that QPR is rapidly slipping away.

Pale greeny gold, glistens. This is excellent wine, the bottle years have helped, I recall my first taste in 2021 or so being rather meagre. It is quite straight-laced, some appealing green fruit, a bit of ginger and salt, some nice orange-blossom and some wet stone. Absolutely rock solid on day 2 with no special care. Great stuff for the price (£13.50 ib back in the day...)

Pale greeny gold. This is very fresh and very straightforward in a pleasing way. It is also much better than my first “early” taste in 2021, the extra two years have been very beneficial. It is never going to have the unabashed chalk and steel of a better appellation, but it is Chablis pure and simple. And delicious. No issues keeping this for another two years, perhaps more, it has the structure to carry on.

If you are looking for a nice crisp classic Chablis then look elsewhere. This is not it. Warm vintage? Slightly on the sweeter side. Slightly cloying.
Maybe a nice wine to some but it’s not what I was hoping for tonight.
Best served very cold with a strong curry.
