  • 2022 Athens Wine Event (CTC , Athens): Tasted blind. We went for young Chablis of very mineral Puligny.
The first vintage of this wine and we believe is 2018 as there is no vintage ( Just said Lot2619) on this and we believe it is because it does not meet regulations for vintage bottling given the wine is actually made in Syros with grapes from Santorini.
Irrespective of all the technicalities ( probably we set it up wrong as Santorini too) this is a very fine and elegant wine. Very mineral, bright , saline. Like a hybrid of a wine with a rounder polished faced too that made us question if this was Puligny and not Chablis. We consider this a compliment to the wine and we look forward to trying newer vintages of this too and see how it evolves. 91-92

  • Random wines tasting (MyCava, Pagrati): The wine shows high intensity, very concentrated, citrus, crushed fruit, mineral, salty, still very tight, not giving away much, a few tea-like (?) herbal notes.
The wine shows the same array of flavors, ripe citrus, tight, herbal again, salty, very mineral, its like taking a mouthful of sea water, unforgiving and unyielding as it is, full body, hgih acidity and long finish.
    Leave it alone

  • Bottle brought by producer to taste at Oinoscent
The wine shows high intensity and density, overripe/dried citrus, smoke notes, preserved fruit, salty and mineral.
In the palate the wine shows again high intensity, dense and pure, citrus, crunchy, mineral, high acidity, fresh green apple, long finish. Its very tight and austere. This will need time
It something between Sigalas Kavalieros and Hatzidakis Louros
