I am a little suspicious of Chablis in vintage 2019 and 2020 - the wines can be really excellent but I don't really think they always really reflect what I think of as classic grippy, edgy, austere Chablis. Where is the sensation you are drinking a glass of razor blades ? This wine, though unquestionably a wine of quality and having the mineral and chalk flavors of Chablis throughout, has a roundness and succulence to the fruit profile that in my view validate my concerns regarding its identity as Chablis. But it is lovely, balanced and full of flavor, with good depth and a length that marks it as a premier cru. Delicious. Will find many friends. No hurry of course.

Classic Chablis notes are accompanied by riper apple and pear notes. Medium bodied with a rich, viscous texture that ideally would carry a bit more density. Good.

Agree with other reviews: textbook Chablis, seabreeze, mineralitydriven, citric acidity, no exotic fruits, viscous texture
