Wow. One could almost call this a dessert wine--not that it's sweet--but big tropical flavors and scents with just enough zing and minerality in the background to nod jubilantly towards it's steely Chablis brethren. Best at the end of the evening, so could easily go another year in the cellar.

Nose with apple, cantaloupe melon, citrus fruits with hint of nuttiness and butter. Decently complex, Good+ intensity. Palate was "full bodied" and OK complexity, length good +. Acidity and fruitiness was at balance. Wine has good back bone and enough complexity to be very good wine. But not intensive enough to be anything special. Was slight disappointment...

(Brocard Jean-Marc Chablis Le Clos) The nose here is only about ripe fruit - almost too much. Fuller in the mouth with good acidity. Actually it’s just a little plump and it’s not quite as long as the last wine. Good but not great.

Decent nose. Disjoint on the palate. Lost crispness. Quite alcoholic on the finish. Past peak. Drink or pour down the sink.

Gourmetklubbens fyrtioåttonde middag (Tema: Dekadens) (A+N, Duvbo): Butter and butterscotch on the nose with a pleasant acidity on the palate and with a lovely and lengthy finish.
