  • No decant. Nose smells of mushroom, toasted oak, red cherry, some blackberry. Quite bold and earthy on the palate with notes of tart red fruit, blood orange, wet stone, and dark chocolate on the finish. Medium finish. The acidity is quite high, and the tannins are pretty round. Soft on the body. There is this slight feeling of alcohol and acidity on the finish, creating an unbalanced taste. Some air time in the glass has blown off some of the edge of the acidity and alcohol. Will need a decant for at least 30 minutes to an hour. Not a rebuy.
