There seem to be a few versions of his Bourgogne Blanc; this note is for the "Côte d'Or" but NOT the Vieilles Vignes version.
Absolutely killer value here imo. Easily the best chardonnay I've ever enjoyed under $40 (I got it for $30), and even for closer to $50 I don't think I've had a more complete and delicious example of the grape. Very bright/crisp and rich/complex at the same time.
I'm very sensitive to reductive tones and here they were supremely well-integrated, just a touch of flint and spice almost like green gunpowder tea, super-alluring little leesy/malo tones of vanilla yogurt and fresh cream, and a whole mess of bright green citrusy fruit, gooseberry, lemon bars, green apple, razor-sharp and super well-balanced. Really excited to try his Meursault now.

Golden in color. On the nose I get lemon peel, warmth of baking spices and pie. It's medium bodied, full of flavor and decent finish. Based on the minimal reviews. I doubted the wine. But, as I chilled and let it open I think it was better than expected.

Honey meets minerality. No hurry to drink these. A powerhouse.
