So light and delicate. Ruby red, almost a rose. The nose combines the red black fruit and spice one expects from Vosne with some green stem notes. The palate is elegant with some tannins on the finish at the beginning but that leave with air. Easy to like but lacking some complexity and intensity to love. I’m left wondering if the Suchot would be better. Croix Rameau is both obscure and lowly regarded among Vosne 1er Cru and yet perhaps really Romanee St Vivant if not for happenstance. My first bottle of the vineyard and the jury is still out.
