This was another very good bottle; closed with natural cork; lovely nose with ripe orchard fruit; certainly shows the sun of the vintage; but alongside the sunny fruit is classic Puligny minerality and just a tiny hint of reduction; floral blossom notes emerge with more air. The palate is very elegant and very classic Puligny. It has very nice depth for a village wine and really lovely length. I would probably drink sooner for the ripe fruit and elegance as who knows when this will oxidize...

On opening this had a definite reductive gunflint note, but that faded after about 30 minutes to show lovely fresh orchard fruits of apple, pear, and some lemon tinged mineral notes; floral notes followed this and a lovely elegance was present on the nose the whole time; the palate followed suit with a beautiful silky sensation with good concentration and intensity of flavor, but also vibrant, fresh, and very elegant. I liked this a lot; quite a bit more than I remember liking the Meursault Clos du Cromin of the same vintage. I would absolutely buy this bottling again. Bottled under natural cork.

Too young and wound up. Either needs to be decanted or cellared for longer. Has a lot of potential

Tart citrus flavors, quite energetic, but a little young, tight and rugged. Decent now, but should be better with a little more time.
