Pommard & Volnay tout en nuances - Grands Jours de Bourgogne (Palais des Congrès - Beaune): Walk around tasting. I have heard good things about François Buffet, but this was my first opportunity to taste these impressive wines. Red berries, spice, and floral aromatic start is bright and pretty for this ripe vintage. Well balanced already, even if there is a slightly firm ending for now. Better from 2024, with the substance to drink well for a considerable for a Village wine.
All wines 1/3 new oak, 1/3 once used, 1/3 neutral oak.

Easy to like. Bright ruby. Fruity nose. Great balance. Red berries, licorice, taste that just goes on and on. Clearly young, but certainly good already.
