Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 95 points

  • I waited too long and perhaps am a bit generous on the score, but it was still a great bottle. The color was an auburn bronzed orange with only the faintest hints of red and traces of brown. Heavily sedimented, I slipped as I decanted this a bit but we made it ok through it.

The wine had a nose of cherry and cranberry. The flavors matched with raisins and a little earthiness. The tannins were completely gone. The flavors lingered on the palate. I opened this for my fiancee and family shortly after gioving her the ring.
