Tasted September 26, 2009 as part of the WinExiles tasting for September.
Opened and served immediately. Dark garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of red currants, florals, wet stones, a bit of red licorice. Flavors of tart berries dominated with added notes of cherries and a bit of raspberry on the moderate finish. Bright acidity, medium to firm tannins, light to medium boidy. A bit rustic. Drink over the shorter term with just a little air before serving.
