This needed some time to open up with air. Subtle nose of oaked fruit: pear, apple, lemon, tropical notes, nutmeg. On the palette the same fruits jump forward balanced with a refreshing line of acidity and spices. Surprisingly fat Chardonnay.

Following others recommendations.... 3 hour double decant. (not something I normally do with white wine). What a joy to drink. Medium bodied, good acid/minerality balance. Will wait a few more years before I open another. I expect this to develop a deeper level of richness. I can very much recommend.

Pale lemon, lemon, praline, and hints of tropical fruits on the nose, fat oaked fruit on the palate but adds spice, acidity and a softer touch on the midpalate, finishes with lots of round toasted citrus fruit, spice, touches of pear, apple, mango but also green apple and mineral streaks
Note: my own tasting note confounds me, it reads like an overly ripe, over oaked chardonnay but there's just enough complexity and minerality to keep all that fruit...interesting, just couldn't stop drinking it

A delightful Chardonnay but it’s of a certain style. On the fuller side, less about pure chardonnay fruit and more about cloves, nutmeg, roasted marshmallow, and … decadence. Sometimes this style can be overdone, or it comes with some hard edges, but not this one.

4/2/2024 - Dima Angert Does not like this wine:
Absolutely underwhelming. Too ripe, clogging, not enough acidity, very oxidative style.
